Description

14 Night Cruise sailing from Quebec City to Ft Lauderdale aboard Eurodam. 14 Night Cruise sailing from Quebec City to Ft Lauderdale aboard Eurodam.

To be delivered in summer 2008, the new Eurodam marks Holland America Line's next class of vessels and at 2044 passengers the largest ever constructed for the premium line. With an estimated all-in cost of $450 million, the new 86,000-ton Panamax Eurodam will be built at Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri's Marghera shipyard.

The Eurodam will further the evolution of Holland America Line's sophisticated mid-sized ships. With 11 passenger decks, new innovations include a topside 144-seat Pan-Asian restaurant and 50-seat lounge surrounded by panoramic views overlooking the ocean expanse and the Lido pool. Other additions are an Explorer's Lounge Bar, a new specialty restaurant adjacent to the Lido offering the finest in Italian food, elegant luxury jewelry boutiques, new atrium bar area, enhanced and reconfigured show lounge with theater-style seating, and a new photographic and imaging center.

Quebec City
A tree-lined "Champs-Elysées," buttery croissants, the lilt of French, a grand château on the river. Is this Canada, or is it France? It is both - a bastion of French culture in North America where impassioned Québécois hold dear their history, language and culture. Nearby: Montmorency Falls, higher than Niagara.

Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada
Charlottetown has something for everyone: a charming waterfront, colonial and Victorian architecture, the picturesque farm that inspired Anne of Green Gables and Founders' Hall, an interactive museum ideal for all ages. Sample shore excursions: Charlottetown By Trolley; Dalvay-by-the-Sea; Island Drive & Anne of Green Gables.

Boston
There’s no better way to get a sense of the Revolutionary struggle that changed our nation's destiny than with a stroll along Boston's Freedom Trail. Along the way: Paul Revere House, Old North Church, the Old State House and Faneuil Hall, gathering place of the early revolutionaries. Farther afield: Lexington Green, where the minutemen and redcoats first skirmished, and bewitching Salem.

New York
New York was once the capital of America, but that illustrious title seems insignificant compared to the modern role of the Big Apple. Fashion, finance and fine arts–it all happens here.
