Description

26 Night Cruise sailing from Copenhagen to New York aboard Eurodam. 26 Night Cruise sailing from Copenhagen to New York aboard Eurodam.

To be delivered in summer 2008, the new Eurodam marks Holland America Line's next class of vessels and at 2044 passengers the largest ever constructed for the premium line. With an estimated all-in cost of $450 million, the new 86,000-ton Panamax Eurodam will be built at Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri's Marghera shipyard.

The Eurodam will further the evolution of Holland America Line's sophisticated mid-sized ships. With 11 passenger decks, new innovations include a topside 144-seat Pan-Asian restaurant and 50-seat lounge surrounded by panoramic views overlooking the ocean expanse and the Lido pool. Other additions are an Explorer's Lounge Bar, a new specialty restaurant adjacent to the Lido offering the finest in Italian food, elegant luxury jewelry boutiques, new atrium bar area, enhanced and reconfigured show lounge with theater-style seating, and a new photographic and imaging center.

Copenhagen
The Little Mermaid greets you at the harbor. At its center is Tivoli, whose gardens, lakes and fountains are said to have inspired Walt Disney.

Tallin
Wander cobblestone alleys beneath turrets and red-tiled roofs in medieval Old Town. Relax near the swan pond in Kadriorg Park. Visit the impressive museum in Baroque Kadriorg Palace.

St Petersburg
Glorious history and art, fanciful palaces, a rich imperial past all here in the city founded by Peter the Great.

Stockholm
Founded as a fortress in the 13th century, Stockholm spans 14 islands and is considered one of the world's most beautiful capitals.

Reykjavik
Geysers, hot springs and fields of cooled lava are testament to Iceland's volcanic origins. Swim in the naturally warmed Blue Lagoon.

Halifax, Nova Scotia
For ocean scenery at its best, nothing rivals Nova Scotia's south shore. Here find craggy coastlines, fabled Peggy's Cove, and the striking German village of Lunenburg, so meticulously restored it has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Back in Halifax the ramparts of the Citadel and a museum commemorating the Titanic await your inspection.

St Johns
North America's oldest city, St. John's is a mix of colorful wooden houses, stately brick churches and Colonial buildings.

New York
New York was once the capital of America, but that illustrious title seems insignificant compared to the modern role of the Big Apple. Fashion, finance and fine arts it all happens here.
